How we calculate
The personal social security contribution comes off your gross salary (see the table), for blue-collar workers on a salary raised by 8%. On a low salary the work bonus lowers that contribution, down to nothing.
Withholding tax follows annex III to the AR/CIR 92: the taxable salary is turned into a yearly amount, reduced by the flat-rate professional costs and taxed on the scale. Then the tax-free amount and the reductions for your household come off, and every month the fiscal work bonus.
The special social security contribution depends on your salary and your household. We show the monthly part of the quarterly amount.
